about

Awash with genius from all corners of the globe, prodigious talent from the Netherlands sees Huminal chart a new path on familiar Mango Alley territory. Sonic waves immerse "Liquid Times" in metronomic calm as pulsating breakers creep up the shore's edge in rippling melodic patterns. Repeating in intensity they leave an impression in the consciousness that gradually filters away as the tide ebbs away. The brooding edge finds a "Wave Chamber" of undiscovered beauty – rolling and undulating in aural mastery, a storm builds in glorious bassline intensity. A moment of intensity produced at the perfect moment as whitecaps hit a protruding rockface, jutting across the landscape, the sounds cascade in percussive brilliance.

Sicilian beauty combines with Australian mastery and Dutch technique. The powerful and elemental force of nature creates works of brilliance; Gai Barone's slow rhythmic strength radiates throughout, carving a path through oceanic calm and evocative melodic repetition. Chord progressions build across the Indian Ocean and Tasman Sea finding waves of rolling bassline elegance mapped across a work of serene intensity. GMJ & Matter embark on uncharted waters with a Mango Alley debut, an undiscovered treasure chest of sparkling melodic jewels and diamond encrusted rhythmic patterns. A Dutch compatriot ends the voyage with his channels of melodic intensity, Mohn's "Wave Chamber" replaces the inertia of still waters with coruscating whirlpools of activity. Spinning across the sonic spectrum, an arpeggio flows in time with beat and bass; a mesmerising collage of sound and energy that builds to rousing, analogue crescendo.

Ebbing and flowing across a rocky shoreline, a tidepool ripples across a short-lived galaxy – "Liquid Times" in ribbons of sound echo across a "Wave Chamber" of infinite variation.
